PGPR biofertilizer consists of beneficial microorganisms for plants, including Azospirillum brasilense, which fixes nitrogen from the atmosphere and promotes plant growth by converting atmospheric nitrogen gas into ammonia that plants can utilize.
It also contains Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus, which solubilizes phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and other nutrients that are bound in the soil. This microorganism enhances plant growth and root development, improving the plant’s ability to absorb nutrients from the soil.
