"Ajinomoto Empowers Rice Farmers with Practical Techniques and Amino Acid-Based Solutions"
We’re back with another meaningful activity specially designed to support and empower our farming community! Ajinomoto FD Green (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (AFDG) recently organized the “Enhancing Rice Farming Techniques: Overcoming Low Yields with Amino Acid-Based Solutions” activity in collaboration with Kubota Kamphaeng Phet (Hua Heng Lee) Co., Ltd., bringing together rice farmers from Sai Ngam District, Kamphaeng Phet Province.The activity featured an insightful session on “2 Rice Crops, 1 Legume: Waiting, Decomposing, Encouraging Germination, and Breaking the Cycle of Volunteer Rice, Weeds, and Effective Water Management to Prepare for Drought”, presented by Mr. Supachai Pitiwut, Executive Director of Kubota Kamphaeng Phet (Hua Heng Lee) Co., Ltd. and owner of the “Chaona Wan Yut” (Farmer on a Holiday) page.The farmers also had the opportunity to explore the production process of SuperAsh soil conditioner, learn about soil analysis, and visit the production facility of Red Cup Brand MSG at the Kamphaeng Phet factory.The program also included a field visit to a rice farm where SuperAsh was applied at Hua Heng Lee Farm.
Throughout the activity, farmers gained practical knowledge and valuable insights covering modern rice farming techniques, rice straw management, soil management, and fertilizer application—all of which are essential factors for achieving healthy crops and improving farming efficiency.It was a great opportunity for everyone to learn, share experiences, and exchange practical knowledge in a lively and friendly atmosphere.
